Pre-conditions for Registration

The documents mentioned in Art.978 shall not be accepted for registration unless it is shown that the dues to the State Exchequer arising from the said transaction are paid or secured; and if it is a mortgage debt with stipulation of interest unless the necessary statement has been drawn. § Sole paragraph - The Land Registrar who admits the same, shall be suspended for one year and if any of the interested parties challenges a judgment declaring the registration null and void, he shall be liable for the losses and damages.
