Cessation of easement

The duty to provide passage may cease on application of the owner of the servient property, in case the need for easement ceases, or if the owner of the dominant property in any manner has the possibility of equally convenient access to the public road through his own land. § Sole paragraph – The provision of the article is applicable to the accesses of passage whatever might have been the source of their acquisition in case there has been a compensation it shall be refunded by the one who is freed from encumbrance.
