Liabilities of Pawnee

The creditor is liable: 1. To preserve the thing pledged, as if it is his own and to compensate for all losses and damages caused to the thing on account of his fault or negligence; 2. To handover the thing pledged, as soon as the liability is fully discharged, and upon payment of the expenses incurred by him with the preservation of the same thing.
