Civil liability of minor

Minority is not relevant for civil liability; but if person who commits the damage on account of his age is not subject to criminal liability, his parents shall be civilly liable for the same or the liability shall devolve on the person under whose care and supervision the guilty person is entrusted unless it is proved that there was no default or negligence on their part.

§ Sole paragraph – The provision of Article 2377 shall apply in the case of minors.
