Statutory text
On dissolution of the marriage or on separation, the endowment shall be refunded to the wife or to her heirs together with any other assets which rightly belong to her, free from any mortgages or encumbrances with which the same or its income might have been charged during the subsistence of the marriage and the assets shall become free from the respective dotal charge only by death of any of the spouses.
