Statutory text
Married women and non emancipated minors, may be attorneys, save what is provided in article 1354; but the principal may only file a suit against the minor or against the married woman, in accordance with the general provisions regulating the liability for the acts of such persons, except if the Power of Attorney, being in writing, has been authorized by the husband, father or guardian of the attorney, as the case may be.
