Statutory text
The presumption of the legitimacy of children born during the marriage, after a lapse of one hundred and eighty days from the date of its solemnization or within three hundred days subsequent to its dissolution or to the separation of the spouse, may be rebutted only upon proof that the husband was physically unable to co-habit with the wife during the first one hundred and twenty-one days or more, out of the three hundred, preceding of the birth of child.
