Appraisal of ownership of soil (‘dominium directum’)

The value of the ownership of the soil (dominium directum) shall be deemed to be equal to twenty annual pensions, and where besides annual pension, some eventual instalment is to be paid the amount of one of such instalments shall be added. § Sole paragraph – Where the value of the installment is not known nor is declared in any law, it shall be appraised as per the custom of the land.
