Appointment of tutor to the child and hearing given to mother

In all the cases in which the presumption of legitimacy of the child has been challenged in the Court, in case the child is minor, a tutor shall be appointed, selected from among the relatives of the mother, if any; and the mother shall always be heard in the Court. § Sole paragraph – The appointment of the tutor shall be made by family council, the same being constituted of relatives of the mother, or of persons of her friendship, in the absence of the former.
