Probative value of depositions

The probative value of the evidence shall be assessed, not only from the knowledge which the witnesses show to have of the facts, as well as faith they deserve considering their status, life and customs, or from the interest which they may or may not have in the litigation, or, finally, by the relationship or link which they have with the litigating parties.
