Payment of the credits of each of the spouses

The credits due to the wife shall have priority over those due to the husband and where the common assets are not sufficient for the payment of the entire amount, the exclusive assets of the husband shall be liable, except where he has not given cause for the debt. The husband shall have no similar right against the exclusive assets of the wife.
