Expenses of funeral

The expenses towards funeral shall be paid by the estate yet undivided, whether there are forced heirs or not. The estate or one third thereof is not liable for any other expenses with the suffrages for the soul of the deceased, when they are not directed by will, in accordance with article 1775.
