Doubts as to secondary clauses of the contracts

Where the doubt is as to secondary clauses of the contract and the doubt cannot be resolved by application of the rules is as laid down in the preceding article, the following rules shall be observed: 1. Where the contract is without consideration, the doubt is resolved by lesser transmission of rights and interests; 2. Where the contract is with consideration the doubt is resolved by the greater reciprocity of interests.
