Presumed refusal of proposal

If a time has not been fixed, the proposal is deemed as not accepted, if the other party does not respond within eight days in addition to the time normally required for postal service to go and come, or, where there is no postal service, within the time which is found reasonable considering the distances, the facility or difficulty of communications.
