Legacy of periodical installment

If the testator bequeaths any periodical installment, the first period shall run from his death, and the legatee shall have right to the said installment, the moment the new period commences, even if he dies before its end. § Sole paragraph – The bequest may not, however, be demanded, save at the end of the period, except when it is by way of maintenance as provided in article 184.
