Grounds for eviction

Article 1607 – Grounds for eviction The landlord may nevertheless, evict the tenant before the expiry of the lease, in the following cases: 1. Where the tenant fails to pay the rent within agreed period. 2. Where the tenant uses the property for a purpose different from that for which it is meant or for which it was leased.
