Challenge of legitimacy by the heirs of the husband

The heirs of the husband may challenge the legitimacy of the children, born during the subsistence of the marriage only: 1. In case the said husband, being present, instituted the competent suit and did not withdraw the same; 2. In case he died before the expiry of limitation fixed for institution of the suit; 3. In case the child was born after the death of the husband.
