Preference of creditors over legatees

Where no creditor with executable judgment against the estate appears, and the assets of the estate are sufficient for the payment of all the creditors, they shall be paid as per the order in which they appear, and only after all of them being paid of their respective credits, the legatees shall be paid, and the securities furnished by the legatees already paid shall be declared as lapsed.
