Grounds for disinheritance of parents

The parents may be disinherited by the son or daughter when they commit against the latter any of the acts mentioned in Article 1876 and whatever is said therein in respect of sons or daughters applies to the parents; so also the father, when he attempts against the life of the mother, or the latter, when she attempts against the life of the father, and they have not reconciled.
