Succession of legitimate parents

Where the legitimate son or daughter dies without descendants, his father and mother shall succeed him or her in equal shares, or in whole of the inheritance where there only exists any one of them. § Sole paragraph – What is laid down in article 1236 is saved from the provision of this article.
