Lapsing of testamentary provisions

The testamentary dispositions lapse, and have no effect, in relation to the heirs or to the legatees: 1. If they die before the testator; 2. If the institution of the heir or the legacy is conditional, and the heirs or legatees die before the condition is fulfilled; 3. If the heirs or the legatees are under disability to acquire the inheritance or the legacy; 4. If the heir or the legatee renounces his rights.
