Where the stipulated currency has ceased to exist

Where the type of coin in which the payment was agreed, no longer exists the payment shall be made in the coin circulating at the time, when the payment is to be made, and for this purpose the value of the kind of coin stipulated shall be calculated by that which it had at the time when it ceased to circulate.
