The mother who, to the detriment of her children, does not follow the opinion of the advisor appointed by the father, or who, in any other way, abuses her maternal authority, may be prohibited from governing the child’s person and assets by a decision of the family council, at the request of the said advisor, of the curator, or of any relative of the children. § Sole paragraph - In this case, the family council shall appoint a person to act as guardian to the children who are still minors, in accordance with Articles 185 onwards.
