Effect of acceptance of mandates

The attorney or the advocate, who has accepted the mandate of one of the parties, shall not act as attorney or advocate for the other party in the same suit, even if he gives up the previous mandate. § Sole paragraph - The attorney or the advocate, who fails to comply with the above provision, shall be suspended from acting as such for a period of one year.
