Reduction of inofficious gifts and dispositions

Where the testator has gifted or disposed of more assets than he is permitted to dispose, the forced heirs may apply, at the time of the opening of the inheritance, that the gift or disposition, be reduced, as provided in articles 1493 and 1494.
