Appropriation of income on the part of curators and other interested parties

The definitive curators and other interested parties may, save as provided in the preceding article, appropriate from the time of delivery of the respective assets, one-fourth part of the income from the same, in the event the absentee or his heirs appear within a period of ten years from the time of disappearance of the same absentee or from the time one last heard of him; and if they appear within a period of ten to twenty years, they may appropriate half of it. If twenty years have passed, they may appropriate the entire income.
