Idiots and those, who, by the abnormal state of their mental faculties, are found to be incapable of administering their person or their assets, shall be interdicted of their exercise of rights. 1. If the individual, on account of mental infirmity or weakness of mind, is found to be incapable of doing certain acts, he may equally be interdicted, however, the interdiction will be confined only to those acts. The extent and the limits of the curatorship shall be specified in the judgement of interdiction. 2. Such interdictions may be applicable to majors or minors, provided that in the last case may be applied within one year immediately next to the majority.
