Private documents written and signed by their author

Private documents, written and signed by person in whose name they are made, which are acknowledged by the parties or have been deemed judicially as recognized, shall have, as between the signatories and their heirs and representatives, the same force as authentic documents, except in cases in which the law declares otherwise.
