Publicity of separation

The application for the separation as well as the judgment granting it shall be published within a period of eight days in any one of the periodicals of the Judicial Division, or in case there is no periodical, by way of public notice affixed in the Court of domicile of the spouses. § 1 - The period of eight days shall be counted, in the first case, from the date of presentation of petition in the office of respective clerk of the Court; and, in the second case, from the date on which the judgment becomes final for want of appeal. § 2 - The assets which are separated by way of judgment shall not be liable for the debts incurred by the husband after the first publication.
