Legacy of a thing charged with encumbrances

If the bequeathed thing is encumbered with any emphyteutic rent, share in the rent, easement or any other encumbrance inherent thereto, it shall pass to the legatee with the same encumbrance. § Sole paragraph – If, however, the thing is burdened with arrears of emphyteutic rent, of shares in the rent or of other onus these shall be paid out of the inheritance.
