Requisites for validity of emancipation by marriage

Emancipation by marriage shall only produce its effects when the male has completed eighteen years of age and the female sixteen, and the marriage had been duly authorized. § Sole paragraph - If the case the minor gets married without necessary permission, he/she shall be continued to be regarded as minor, as regards the administration of his/her assets till majority; but out of the income of the assets he shall be allotted the maintenance necessary for his/her state.
