Co authorship

When a work has more than one author, and each one of them collaborates in it under the same conditions, and in his own name, the copyright in the work shall vest in the person of all its co-authors, and the first period of duration of such copyright shall extend till the death of the last co-authors, to survive the others, provided, however, the profits of the said copyright are shared with the heirs of the deceased co-authors, and the second period shall start when the said last collaborator dies. § Sole paragraph - Where a collective work, in the production of which more than on writer is engaged, is undertaken, drafted and published by only one person and in his name, only upon his death, the second period referred to in this article shall start.
