Improvement made by husband or his heirs

The husband or his heirs are entitled to the payment by the wife or by her heirs for the necessary and useful improvements, but only to the extent of the increase in value at the time of return. The luxurious improvements may be merely removed by the husband or by his heirs, according to Article 500.
