Deposit in court

The debtor may discharge himself by depositing the thing due in the Court, with notice to the creditor in the following cases: 1. Where the creditor refuses to receive it; 2. Where the creditor does not come or send anyone to receive it, at the time or the place stipulated for payment; 3. Where the creditor is not willing to issue acknowledgement receipt; 4. Where the creditor is incapable of receiving it; 5. Where the creditor is uncertain. § Sole Paragraph: In case of No.5 of this Article, notice to the creditor is dispensed with.
