Deposit of thing unlawfully taken

Where the depositary comes to know that the thing deposited has been stolen, he shall report the same to the owner, if he knows him, or if not to the office of the Public Ministry. And where within fifteen days from the date of informing, the thing deposited has not been claimed judicially, or claimed by the owner, it may be handed over to the depositor, without the depositary incurring in any liability for this reason.
