Administration of the assets of the minor

Where the remarried mother is permitted to continue to administer the assets of the children, in terms of the preceding article, the husband shall along with her be jointly responsible for the losses that may result from her management, even though he may be judicially separated or divorced, the damages being related to the period prior to the separation or divorce. § Sole paragraph - Where the mother is deprived from administering the assets of the children, the family council shall appoint a person, to take charge of such administration, with the same duties and rights that the guardians have in relation to the properties of the minors.
