Movables by nature or by operation of law

All material objects not covered by the two preceding articles, are movables by nature and all rights not covered by sub-clause 2 of the preceding article are movables by operation of law. In Portuguese Law, ships, automobiles and aeroplanes, though movables, are capable of being mortgaged. The word ‘hipoteca’ in Portuguese means mortgage.
