Right to make improvements to the object of usufruct

The usufructuary may make improvements to the object of the usufruct, for utility and comfort as he may deem necessary, provided he does not alter the form or substance of the thing, but shall not thereby be entitled to any compensation; he may however remove the said improvements, without causing any detriment to the thing.
