Article 1554 – Alienations depending on certain formalities The following may be sold only in the cases and in the manner prescribed by law: 1. The assets of minors and of interdicted persons and any others which are under administration. 2. The dotal assets. 3. The State, municipal or village assets or those of any public establishment. 4. Assets that are attached.
