Commencement of society

Society commences from the time the contract is lawfully entered into, in accordance with article 1240; if there is no stipulation to the contrary: the society, however, does not come into effect, where any shareholder promises to bring in any property, or use of something essential for the existence of the society, and delivery of such property or use of such thing does not take place.
