Reduction of the encumbrance attached to the legacy

Statutory text
If the legatee with an encumbrance does not receive, due to his own fault, the whole bequest, the encumbrance shall be reduced proportionately and in case he is dispossessed from the bequeathed thing the legatee may demand restitution of what he has paid.
