Duties of purchaser

Article 1583 – Duties of purchaser The purchaser is bound to fulfill whatever is stipulated and particularly to pay the price on time, at the place and in the manner as agreed. § 1 - Where there is no stipulation as to time and place, it shall be deemed that they are the same as for the delivery of the things sold. § 2 - Where there is doubt as to what is to be performed first, whether the delivery of the thing sold, or the payment of the price, either one or other shall be placed in deposit, in the hands of a third party.
