Revival of mortgages

In the case of extinction of principal obligation by way of payment, if the same is annulled, the mortgage revives; but if the inscription is cancelled, the inscription appears from the date of new inscription, save the right left to the creditor to be compensated by the debtor for the losses the former has suffered therefrom.
