Grounds of separation of persons and assets

The following shall be valid grounds for the separation of persons and assets: 1. Adultery committed by the wife; 2. Adultery of the husband with public scandal, or complete abandonment of the wife or keeping a mistress in the coijuga1 domicile; 3. The conviction of the spouse to life-imprisonment; 4. Ill-treatment and serious injuries.
