Effect of the Act on Indian Electricity Act, 1910 and Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948

(1) Upon the commencement of this Act, the State Electricity Regulatory Commission constituted under Section 17 of the Central Act shall exercise all powers and perform all functions as per the provisions of this Act and not under the Central Act. (2) Save as provided in sub-section (1), the provisions of the Central Act shall not apply in the State in so far as they relate to the State Commission.
