The Superintendent shall have the power to impose any of the punishments mentioned in the preceding two sections, provided that in case of solitary confinement for a period exceeding one month, prior confirmation of the Inspector General shall be required. 2. No other subordinate officer of the Superintendent shall have the authority to impose any punishment.
