Power to give order to vacate or to demolish building and to take other action in case of violation of provisions on

If- (a) there is any contravention of any 'provision of this chapter relating to building activities in respect of any building or use of any building, or (b) any building poses a danger to life and property, the Chief Municipal Officer may, by order, in writing, direct the person who has the right and title over the plot or the lessee in respect of the plot or the occupier of such building to vacate such building or to seal such building and to take such other action as the Chief Municipal Officer may deem fit.
