First meeting of Municipality.

(1) the first meeting of a Municipality a er the general election of Councillors to the Municipality shall be convened within thirty days from the date of publication of the names of the elected Councillors in the Official Gazette under the provisions of arly !?W selating !o municipal election in Sikkim. (2) Seven days' notice shall be given for the meeting. (3) In the .case of a Municipal Corporation, the meeting shall be convened by the Secretary to the State Government in charge of Urban Development and Housing Department or any other Officer not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the State Government, duly authorized by him. (4) In the case of a Municipal Councillor a Nagar Panchayat, the meeting shall be convened by such officer of the Urban Development and Housing Department of the State Government as may be authorized by the Secretary of that Department.
