Review and monitoring of the implementation of the Act by District Planning Committee
The M.P. Asangthit Karamkaar Kalyan Adhiniyam, 2003(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act for the time being in force, it shall be the duty of the District Planning Committee to review and monitor the implementation of this Act in the district at least once in every six months and include it in its meeting. (2) Every review meeting referred to in sub-section (1) shall include, in addition to the members of the committee, at least three and not more than five representatives each of (a) unorganised labourers, (b) their employers, and (c) experts, active activists and voluntary agencies situated in the district, invited to be present as "Stakeholders". (3) The "Stakeholders" referred to in sub-section (2) shall have the right to participate in the discussions in the meeting but shall not have the right to vote. (4) The "Stakeholders" referred to in sub-section (2) shall be nominated for a period of two years at a time by the Chairperson of the committee in consultation with its Member Secretary: Provided that the term of a Stakeholder shall continue until his successor is nominated. (5) The District Planning Committee may delegate any of its duties under sub-section (1) to a Sub-committee: Provided that the Sub-committee shall invite the stakeholders to be present in every review meeting of the sub-committee. Explanation. (1) For the purposes of this section, "District Planning Committee" and its "Sub-committee" mean the committees formed under section 3 and 9 of the M.P. Zila Yojana Samiti Adhiniyam, 1995 (No. 19 of 1995) respectively. (2) The word "members" in sub-section (2) includes the special invitees mentioned in section 5 of the aforesaid Act.
