Transfer of private road etc. to Boards

Transfer of private road etc. to Boards-the Board at a meting may agree with the person in whom the property in any roads, bridge, tank, ghat, well, channel or drain in vested, to take over the property therein or the control thereof, and after such agreement map declare on notice in writing put up thereon or near thereto that such road, bridge, tank, ghat, well, channel or drain has been transferred to the Board. Thereupon, the property therein or the control thereof as the case may be shall vest in the Board and such road, bridge, tank, ghat, well, channel or drain shall thenceforth be repaired and maintained out of the municipal fund.
